B-25 History Project Restorations
The B-25 History Project has two separate restoration goals. The first is to work with other restoration projects. We work closely with restoration projects to provide them with historical resources, photos, and even histories of their aircraft. On several occasions, we have provided information to organizations and the media to further promote individual B-25s. The B-25 History Project is always happy to promote any B-25 in any way we possibly can. This has even included helping in the search for airframes for potential restoration. These partnerships are essential to honor this history of the B-25. Another important aspect of our efforts is to bring the B-25 community closer together.
The second piece to our restoration efforts involve us actually doing restoration work. Our goal is to combine world class restorations with the stories of the men and women who are connected to the B-25 to develop STEM programs to education and inspire the next generations. In all of our restorations, we push to involve the next generation. To ensure the continued preservation of B-25 history, we must inspire the younger generations to pick up the torch and carry on. Sometimes our restoration work can benefit another restoration. Ultimately, one of our main goals is to bring a B-25 back home to Kansas City. For now, you can follow our physical restorations here.
