Purchased surplus by Sonora Flying Service in January 1960, she was converted into a borate tanker and flown as Tanker #48. She was sold in 1964 and unfortunately some of the records for the aircraft were lost except for the FAA records of ownership. There was one other owner between 1964 and 1968 when the Tallmantz Corporation acquired her. She was purchased for the film "Catch 22". In this film she carried the tail code 6M with no noseart. After filming was completed for "Catch 22" she was repainted in basic olive drab and gray and moved to Tampa, Florida. Again there was not a lot of flying activity for the next several years. In 1978 she was modified with extra fuel tanks for a flight to England for use in another film "Hanover Street". In all, five B-25s were gathered for use in this film being completed in the UK. She completed the Trans-Atlantic to England flight via Greenland and Iceland. For "Hanover Street" she was given the fake military serial 151645 and a coat of olive drab paint. During the movie she carried the name of "Marvelous Miriam". Most of the "Hanover Street" B-25s were left idle after the filming due to administrative holds in England. She however, was renamed and flown as "Marvelous Milly" in the late 1970s while still based out of Blackbushe, England where the "Hanover Street" B-25s had been kept. Eventually she was grounded at Blackbushe Airport in 1980. She was obtained by English collector Doug Arnold and donated to the RAF Museum where it is currently displayed.
